Blastline puts a pressure pump, a motor and a battery inside a drill-sized gun. Instead of a garden hose, it pulls water up a 16-foot intake hose from whatever container you have. That means the pressure comes with you: down the driveway, to the back fence, onto the dock or into the RV bay. The 6-in-1 nozzle twists between spray patterns, and the foam cannon turns a bucket of car soap into thick suds.

Any bucket, barrel, tank, pool or lake with the filter end fully submerged. A tap adapter lets you connect to a garden hose when one is close.

Rinse the intake filter after muddy water, run clear water through the gun after soap, and store the battery indoors between uses.

Ten seconds to pressure

Fill a bucket. Drop the hose. Pull the trigger.

There is no setup beyond that. The filter end of the intake hose goes into the water, the battery clicks into the grip, and the first pull of the trigger primes the pump. Twist the nozzle to a pinpoint jet for caked-on grime or open it to a wide fan for panels and windows. When the bucket runs low, refill it and keep going.

A clip-in lithium pack, the same style as a cordless drill, slides into the base of the grip. Charge it indoors and it's ready when the job comes up.

The 16-foot hose ends in a weighted filter that keeps grit out of the pump. Drop it in a bucket, barrel, tank or lake and the gun pulls what it needs.
